It's not very often that you connect with good people. But I have been following Tea Mah of teaquilts. I love her videos and I stay up all hours of the night watching them. Well I found out that she lives in St. Louis. So, I contacted her and asked if we could meet. We exchanged information and we made time to meet. Tea, myself and Debra had a fantastic dinner at The Kitchen Sink. We talked like we knew each for years. We talked about Embroidery, sewing, quilting, doing YouTube videos and being an African American quilter. I found ourconversation very enlightening about being an African American quilter and how we need to create a presence with quilt shops and companies that sell sewing and embroidery machines. Because there isn't enough diversity when it comes to women of color in this industry. We shared our experiences and just had a great time. After dinner we went to the Arch. It was dark by the time we got there but I wasn't going up there it was way to high for me. I would have passed out.

It is always great to meet someone that you see on YouTube.
